The present terms and conditions of sale govern the contractual relationship for online sales by “BUWI s.c.s.” here represented by the online platform called “Alyseum webstore”.
“BUWI s.c.s.” is a company registered in Belgium under the number RCN 0839 466 704.
The company’s head office is located at 23-202, rue des Poètes – 1348 Louvain-la-Neuve – Belgium.

“BUWI s.c.s.” will set out the conditions of sale under the name Alyseum. The present general terms and conditions of sale apply for products sold online through the Alyseum Webstore.
They concern solely the services offered by BUWI s.c.s. through the URL address www.alyseum.com
Article 2 / Scope of the general terms and conditions of sale
Placing an order for a product advertised on the website www.alyseum.com implies unconditional acceptance of the present terms and conditions of sale. The customer acknowledges that he/she has been informed of the present terms and conditions of sale and accepts them by proceeding to a purchase. No handwritten signature of this document is required inasmuch as the customer wishes to order online the products offered for sale on a website.
These general terms and conditions of sale shall prevail over any other conditions set out in any other document, unless special written dispensation has previously been given.
“BUWI s.c.s.” reserves the right to change the present terms and conditions of sale at any time. The applicable general terms and conditions of sale shall therefore be those in force on the official website www.alyseum.com at the date of ordering.
Article 3 / Product description
The information, photographs and characteristics illustrating the products on sale are not contractually binding; “BUWI s.c.s.” shall not be held liable for any errors or omissions in the presentation of these products on Alyseum Webstore. “BUWI s.c.s.” undertakes to correct any error or omission which may mislead customers.
Article 4 / Price
Article 4.1 / General provisions
The prices of our products are given in Euros (€), without VAT, tax and transport. The price invoiced to the customer is the price stated on the order confirmation sent by the Alyseum Webstore.
Article 4.2 / Expedition
Shipping includes a contribution to the cost of preparing and packaging as well as the cost of carrying and shipping your order. We have set a single price per shipping zone, and guarantee a competitive rate of express transport in conditions reasonably suited to our products.
All items are shipped from Belgium, using either: BPOST in coperation with UPSP for USA, Deutsh POST for Germany, LA POSTE for France and more.
For each order you receive by email: a confirmation of you order and a tracking number.
Article 4.3 / Price changes
“BUWI s.c.s.” reserves the right to change its prices on the Alyseum Webstore at any time. The products will be invoiced at the rates in force when the order is recorded, subject to availability.
We make the following commitments:
> If the new price is lower than the price given on the website, we will apply the lower price and will send you your article.
> If the new price is higher than the price given on the website, we shall inform you of the fact and shall cancel your order unless
you choose to accept the order at the new price.
> If the price of the product you ordered has been changed and the product is no longer available,
we shall contact you to find out whether you wish to cancel your order or accept a substitute product and pay the difference in price.
If not, you will be sent a reimbursement within 2 working days.

The Belgian VAT is not added.
However, customers must know that he will have to pay importation and local taxes.

All member states of the EU, except Belgium, the Belgian VAT (21%) is always added.
For professional customers with a valid VAT number, you are invited to contact us at info@alyseum.com or place order on our webstore with a payment via Wire Transfert, for VAT-free ordering and invoice. In any case,You will receive by Email, a confirmation including a Proforma invoice.
Article 5.3 / V.A.T. / Sales inside Belgium
The VAT (21%) is always added.
For professional customers, you are invited to provide us your VAT number on the billing form on our Alyseum Webstore.
Article 6 / Product availability
If the product proves to be unavailable after the order has been validated, the customer will be informed as soon as possible by electronic mail.
In such case, the Alyseum Webstore will refund the payment within 2 working days. No additional refunding beyond the amount paid will be offered for any reason whatsoever.

Article 7.1.1 / Ordering on your own account
Under article 488 of the Belgian Civil Code, you must be over 18 to place an order on this site. If you are not eighteen (18) years old, you must declare that you have parental permission to do so.
If you are a legal ward, you must declare that you have your guardian’s permission to place an order on the site.
Article 7.1.2 / Ordering for a company
You declare that the company you represent authorises you to place an order using its VAT number and that the company is duly registered with the appropriate Company Register. Alyseum Webstore shall not be held liable if these conditions are not fulfilled.
The company directors are responsible for opening or closing any account in its name.
Article 7.2 / Order confirmation and refusal
All accepted orders shall be confirmed by e-mail. The sales contract shall not be concluded until the order has been confirmed by Alyseum Webstore. Alyseum Webstore reserves the right:
> to cancel the order in the event of non-payment and/or failure to supply any proof and documents requested,
> not to fill the order of a customer with whom it has a dispute over a payment of an earlier order,
> not to follow up any order which it deems fraudulent,
> not to ship to certain addresses (post boxes in particular),
> not to confirm an order if it knows it cannot guarantee delivery because a large number of the products requested are out of stock,
or the order is abnormal or excessive, or there is a foreseeable problem with shipping.
ALYSEUM Webstore shall inform the customer of its refusal to confirm the order by electronic mail within a period of 24 hours (Working days only) starting from the time of payment.
Article 8 / Payment
Article 8.1 / Authorisation
The customer declares that he/she is fully entitled to give the necessary authorisation to use the methods of payment he/she chose in validating the order form.
Article 8.2 / Methods of payment
Two methods are accepted on Alyseum Webstore.
> PayPal
> Wire transfert, for sales inside European Economic Area (EEA) with a valid VAT ID. You will receive by Email, a confirmation including a
Proforma invoice.
Article 8.3 / Security of payment
When an order is placed with Alyseum Webstore, the customer’s bank card number goes directly to the organisation that verifies and validates payments. Various validation operations are carried out before a debit authorisation is sent to our logistics partner who will validate your order once the transaction has been carried out.
The card shall be debited on the day on which the order is placed by the logistics partner on behalf of “BUWI s.c.s.”
For maximum security Alyseum Webstore will have no knowledge of your bank codes at any stage.
Advanced security systems protect your data and guarantee a safe, secure transaction. For convenience, you can save your credit card data such as the number of the card and the name of the cardholder. These data are protected by the security codes giving you access to your account.
Article 8.4 / Validation of orders
Whatever the method of payment you choose, the order will not be taken into account until it has been validated. Before validation, an order is recorded but not taken into account. The order will be validated when the organisation responsible for verifying and validating payments has sent a debit authorisation. You will then be sent confirmation of your order by e-mail and your account will be debited by our logistics partner.

Alyseum Webstore checks all orders. Alyseum Webstore may ask customers to provide documents needed to clear the order (proof of address, identity card…)
Alyseum Webstore reserves the right to suspend processing and shipping of an order if authorisation of payment by bankcard is refused by the accredited organisations or if payment is not made.
Alyseum Webstore reserves the right to refuse to ship or fill an order placed by a customer who has not paid for all or part of a previous order or with whom it has a dispute.
Article 8.6 / Security of your data with ALYSEUM Webstore
> All sensitive data collected by Alyseum Webstore are encrypted by SSL standards.
> It is impossible to access Alyseum Webstore payment pages if you are not connected in secure mode.
> Your credit card number is forwarded solely to the financial organisation handling the transaction.
> All communication with financial institutions is made according to the transmission and security protocols imposed and certified by
those financial institutions.
> Only the financial institutions of the merchants responsible for the financial transactions may transmit the card numbers to the merchants.
Article 8.7 / Ownership
Alyseum Webstore retains full ownership of the products sold until all the sums due by the customer for that order have been received.
The transfer of ownership of goods bought from Alyseum Webstore by the customer to a third party shall not be covered by this contract.
Only the original buyer of this item may claim to accede to the clauses of the present terms and conditions of sale.
Article 9 / Shipping
Article 9.1 / General provisions
The products bought on Alyseum Webstore shall be shipped to the shipping address given by the customer.
Alyseum Webstore shall not be held liable for the consequences of the errors made by the customer at the time of ordering; therefore, any costs incurred for reshipping the order shall be at the customer’s expense.
When the carrier presents the parcel at the given address, Alyseum Webstore is deemed to have made the delivery. Customers must make arrangements with the carrier to take possession of their parcels.
Alyseum Webstore shall not be held liable for the non-performance of the contract in the event of natural disasters, social disturbances, or partial or total strikes, in particular of any means of transport or carrier services.
Article 9.2 / Summary
The customer will be sent a summary of the following information:
> Order confirmation number and order date.
> Products ordered and total price.
> Total shipping costs.
> Details of means of payment, in accordance with security measures.
> Shipping and invoicing addresses.
> Contact information for customer care at Alyseum Webstore.
> A link for tracking the parcel (UPS tracking number).
Article 9.3 / Lead times
After reception of the confirmation via e-mail, the delay for transport is between 48 hours and 5 days (depending of the country)
Delivery time depends on the composition of your order, the time needed by the carrier to deliver the goods to the address you have supplied.
Alyseum Webstore shall not be held liable for any failure on the carrier's part.
Any delay in shipping within a period of 15 calendar days from the date of placing your order shall entitle you to request cancellation of your order or obtain a substitute product. The cancellation of the order must be made by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt in order to obtain reimbursement within 10 calendar days from the date of cancellation.

Alyseum Webstore shall not be held liable for non-performance of the contract in the event of natural disasters, disturbances, partial or total strikes, in particular of any means of transport or carrier service without.
For its shipment, Alyseum Webstore only works with BPOST.BE services.
You can track the progress of your order with the tracking number sent to you with confirmation of your order.

Article 10 / Return of products
Products can be returned only for defects in quality. Customer care will not accept a change of mind about an order as a valid reason for returning the product. Please contact us within 48 hours of receipt of your parcel to report a problem.
No claim will be taken into account after that period.
If the problem described is due to our failure to deliver a product in good condition, we undertake to send you, with your consent, a similar product corresponding to the value of your purchase.
We will cover the cost of the return and will identify the cause of the problem before making a proposal.

If you notice that the packaging is damaged and the contains are damaged, that the product you have ordered is no longer aesthetically presentable and no longer of satisfactory quality, please send us a message at info@alyseum.com
Copy and paste the following table in your e-mail to give us more details on the cause of the problem. Please send a photo of the damage you report. Customer care will contact you after processing your message.

These general terms and conditions of sale are governed by Belgian law and the Vienna Convention on international sale of goods (1980).
Article 11.2 / Jurisdiction
For persons entering into this contract in a commercial capacity, the Nivelles courts in Belgium shall have sole jurisdiction over any disputes arising over the present general terms and conditions of sale or any later commercial dealings.
