Warranty in EEC
Alyseum warrants its products to be free of defects in materials and workmanship and conform to the specifications at the time of shipment for a period of two years from the date of purchase.
During that period, defect units will be repaired or replaced.
This warranty does not cover problems resulting from damages during shipping, due to faulty installation, improper power supply, abusive treatment or any user-related fault or negligence.
To obtain warranty service:
1. Send a description of the problem and the serial number (back side) at our Email address info@alyseum.com .
2. Except for customers who bought directly on our webstore, please send a copy of the original invoice in PDF
or JPEG at our Email address info@alyseum.com.
3. We determine the problem so that we can find the most appropriate solution for you.
4. In case of a return to factory, we always confirm a RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization).
5. After receipt of the RMA number, you can return your product at your cost and responsibility.
6. Please send us the Tracking number and the link of the shipping company you use.
7. Only if you respect all conditions above, then we will take delivery and repair or replace your product freely.
8. We offer the return of your product at our cost and responsibility.
NB: To avoid any problems with users having insufficient background in electronics, we do not deliver electronic parts or an electronic card separately for self repairing!
Warranty overseas
Same as above, but!
To avoid tax and VAT a second time to our address and a third time when returning to your address, we ask to print and insert the RMA document send by Email in a transparent self-adhesive plastic pouch that you have to stick prominently on the packaging (transparent self-adhesive plastic pouch available on request).
So, only point 7 changes:
7. Only if you respect all conditions above AND only if no VAT or tax are requested to us, then we will take delivery and
repair or replace your product freely.
Tips to avoid confusions for the Belgian Customs:
1. Take a box big enough to be able to stick the RMA separately and distinctly in its plastic pouch + the delivery form
of the carrier + place for the other sticker who will come later.
2. Please, do not indicate commercial value on the delivery form or any other document stuck on the box!
3. We advise you to check "return to the sender in case of non delivery" so that in any case, your package is returned to
you and not destroyed.
Long term support
Equipment needing repair out of the warranty period requires a written agreement before being sent to us.
Charges for repair and shipment may apply.
Equipment sent to us without such prior agreement will not be repaired and not returned to the sender.
Careful packaging during shipment
Products sent for repair under warranty or not, must be adequately protected.
Products arriving broken due to improper packaging will not be repaired and the loss will not be compensated.
